This was the first project that Cherry Tree Studios worked on, and I filled the role of lead game designer. For this project, we had no dedicated programmers, and instead every designer worked in a technical capacity as well, making use of Unreal Engines blueprinting. I worked directly on the player character, and the first level of the game, and in my capacity as lead designer I worked with the rest of the team on the entire game. As this was the first project the studio worked on, it turned out quite well, although I mostly include it in this portfolio as an example of how much I have grown over the course of just three years.
This was my first large scale project, and we were running these studios alongside our university course. The amount we have learned about how to work in teams, and how to organize ourselves is indescribable. I'll make no false pretenses, this project is the weakest part of my portfolio. But just three years after making this, I was working in a team less than half the size, and making games that are twice as good.
